Kenneth Corey, professor of geography and urban planning at Michigan State University, is the recipient of the first Gill-Chin Lim Global Award from the Consortium on Development Studies. The $10,000 award was presented to Corey this summer at a ceremony held at Hanyang University in Korea.

Karen Sedatole, associate professor of accounting and information systems in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, recently received the 2009 Notable Contribution to the Management Accounting Literature Award for her paper, "The Effect of Control Systems on Trust and Cooperation in Collaborative Environments."
