Associate professor named president of Research Chefs Foundation

Carl P. Borchgrevink, an associate professor in The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University, has been named president of the Research Chefs Foundation, which supports the educational endeavors of the Research Chefs Association. Borchgrevink will serve in this capacity on the all-volunteer board for two years.

Kenneth Waltzer invited to honoring of Fyodor from Rostov

Rabbi Israel Lau, the current chair of the Yad Vashem Council, has invited Kenneth Waltzer, director of MSU's Jewish Studies Program, to attend the induction of Fyodor Michajlitschenko into the list of Righteous Among the Nations. The ceremony will take place at Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem, on Aug. 4.
