Construction on Farm Lane and Service Road on the campus of Michigan State University continues; the two roads are now expected to reopen on or about Sept. 30, weather permitting.

The goal is to have the road opened in time for the MSU-University of Michigan home game Oct. 3, according to Kari Arend, communications representative with the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Farm Lane is closed between Mount Hope Road and Wilson Road, and Service Road is closed from just east of Harrison Road to Bogue Street. The roads are closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
