One of America's most trailblazing bands, WILCO, is coming to the Wharton Center for Performing Arts’ Cobb Great Hall on the campus of Michigan State University for a one-night only performance.

The six-member band, which is currently on tour, will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 21, 2010 as part of the Christman Live at State concert series.

Tickets are on sale online at www.whartoncenter.com, or by calling 1-800-WHARTON, or at the Wharton Center box office. WILCO last played MSU in 2006 at the grand reopening event for the MSU Concert Auditorium.

WILCO has won critical acclaim since its 1994 debut by mixing rock, country, and experimental influences on its classic albums. This year was a busy year for WILCO with the release of the film “Ashes of American Flags,” which captures the energy, poignancy and musicality of WILCO during the band’s 2008 tour.
