MSU Board of Trustees to meet June 19

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.

 

The board will consider: 

  • Budget development guidelines for 2009-10.
  • The appointment of Pamela Whitten as dean of the College of Communication Arts and Sciences.
  • A resolution that authorizes the administration to proceed with a major renovation to Emmons Hall, including new life safety systems, elevator replacement and other improvements.

Other agenda items include reports from the president and board chairman; personnel actions; a gifts, grants and contracts report; and the presentation of the 2008-09 diversity and inclusion annual progress report.
