Faculty and students in Michigan State University's Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education, or HALE, program in the Department of Educational Administration are sponsoring the 8th Annual Program Information Day Oct. 2.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 252 Erickson Hall in the College of Education. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Prospective students interested in any of three degrees offered through the HALE program – a master’s degree in student affairs administration, or a master’s or doctoral degree in higher, adult and lifelong education -- will meet faculty and current students, learn about the curriculum, hear about exciting off-campus learning and professional development opportunities, discuss potential career options for graduates, and explore student experiences and funding.

There also will be after-lunch sessions with faculty members and students discussing the HALE programs' exciting learning opportunities for students interested in domestic and international issues.

Please RSVP by e-mail to Julie Rojewski, Department of Educational Administration, at rojewsj@msu.edu no later than Sept. 28.

Though the formal program will end by 2 p.m., there will also be informal sessions in the afternoon, featuring a campus tour, engagement with current and prospective students and faculty members, and the opportunity to learn more about MSU and life in Mid-Michigan. If you would be interested in joining in staying for these informal sessions or have suggestions, e-mail rojewsj@msu.edu.
