EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are some of the items on the agenda.
*The board will be asked to allow the administration to begin planning for several renovation projects, including projects at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory and Hubbard Hall.
*The board will consider an “authorization to proceed” request for an improvement project at Old College Field, which includes a new grandstand and press box.
*The board will be asked to approve the acceptance of two acres of land in the city of Kentwood, Mich., as well as a long-term property lease on 10 acres of land in Onaway, Mich.
Other agenda items include reports from the president and board chairman, personnel actions and a “Shaping the Future” report.
