EAST LANSING, Mich. -- More than 2,000 runners and walkers participated in this year's Michigan State University Federal Credit Union Dino Dash, a 24-year-old 5K race that raises funds for the MSU Museum.

The Oct. 4 event also included the Museum Mile, for kids 12 and younger, followed by the Museum Circle for children 5 and older. With clowns, balloons, face painting and an energetic disc jockey, things were busy and entertaining for all who attended. In fact, one fan created a quilt from Dino Dash T-shirts designed by East Lansing artist Kate Darnel.

"Our employees work the registration tables for the race, serve on the course and, of course, participate by running and or walking," said Patrick McPharlin, MSUFCU president and CEO. "It is wonderful to see our staff interact with the community. We had more than 90 employees contribute their time. Their involvement has made this race one of the top races in Michigan."

MSUFCU, the world's largest university-based credit union, serves MSU and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni association members and their families worldwide with more than 153,000 members and $1.77 billion in assets. It provides a full range of personal and business related financial services. For more information, visit www.msufcu.org.
